University design project
Cagliari, Italy
The project is aimed at bringing university students
closer to the Botanical garden of Viale Sant’Ignazio,
designing a new study hall for the Economics and Political Sciences
department of the University of Cagliari.

The rapprochement between people and the park is achieved
through a technically opposite procedure:
the building is raised above the ground,
and the connecting element is the sight.

Taking advantage of the morphology of the land,
the study hall lays on three supports,
two V-shaped concrete pillars and a service building,
and the full-height curtain wall allows for a continuous view of the park
from any interior space.
The renderings are a re-proposal of the project carried out for the course Progetto e costruzione dell'Architettura ll,
at the faculty of Scienze dell'Architettura of the University of Cagliari,  a.y. 2017/18
